A vocalist with artistry, passion, and power evident in the music she makes. Like many vocalists, she was raised with a rich love for many styles of music. And like Jazz itself, her music was born from years of crafting a sound like no other.
Amy's musical loves are in many places and reflect a life of musical development. From the fine way of classical to the tested road of blues, from rock and folk stylings to world and fusion rhythyms. Yet is it the full expressiveness of Jazz that is her first and fullest musical love. The greats who have come before, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McCrae, Peggy Lee, and many more have been her strongest musical influence. Her own voice has fully emerged from this rich past, with clarity and purpose and her own undeniable inspiration.
